Mariana Mendivil

Mariana Mendivil (Hermosillo, Sonora, 1995) is a filmmaker, collage artist, and stop motion animator. She graduated from the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC-UNAM) as a filmmaker and from Bande à Part in Barcelona, where she studied a diploma in screenwriting. She won the Best Mobile Device Cineminute Award at the 7th Metropolitan Cineminute and Brief Narratives Festival. She was a grantee of the Artistic Creation and Development Stimulus Program of the Sonora State Fund for Culture and the Arts (PECDA-FECAS) 2017-2018 and the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) for Young Creators in the Video category 2022-2023.
