Tanya Bozhinova

Tanya Bozhinova is a 2D and motion graphics animator and illustrator based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her experience is both in commercial advertisement as a member of studio Lobster and independent filmmaking as a student in New Bulgarian University. For two consecutive years she worked as a festival coordinator for the World Festival of Animated Film Varna. As part of her early artistic experimentations, Tanya directed three mini shorts - Just One, in 2019, #LoveInQuarantine, in 2020, and The Matchbox, 2021. Tanya’s graduation film ‘Dear you’ took part in the 2022 Annecy-Bulgaria Animation Pitching Workshop with Olivier Catherine
