Take Five

At the State Academy of Film in Lodz in 1972, Rybczyński made Take Five, an experimental film of double-exposed faces and figures tightly synchronized to the Dave Brubeck jazz piece. In this nascent effort, one perceives a thoroughness in exploration of the medium that announces the mature work of the artist.
