Hungry Heart

Hungry Heart is a short animated film exploring the inner struggle of an eating disorder. The protagonist is portrayed through two visually identical yet color-contrasting figures: the real self and its reflection. The reflection is intrusive and provocative, embodying the voice of an insecure mind and a distorted relationship with food. Structured in three emotional chapters, the film follows a journey from suppression and fear to awareness and acceptance. Food is represented through letters and words, emphasizing the inability to communicate inner pain. The climax unfolds through a simple act in which the character visualizes, reduces, and ultimately swallows the disorder.
