The Book of Dreaming
The narrator starts writing a journal of her dreams. After portraying several picturesque nightmares, she starts dealing with dreams taking place at the cemetery next to which she grew up. Comparing her daydreams with collective fantasies of the otherworld, the author delves into the depths of human subconsciousness and there, at the source of human spirituality, she finds the parallels between dreams and the film medium, equally made of fantasies and illusions where we live experiences that don’t exist in our reality.

Irena Jukić Pranjić
Irena Jukić Pranjić (1973) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. A member of the Croatian Artists Association. She has illustrated magazines, textbooks and picture books for children and adults. She has continuously focused on comics since 1997 and published short comics in many print media in Croatia and abroad. Since 2015 she has been teaching comic book art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. As an author of animated films, she has been active since 2007 and has so far made four films.
