Conor Kehelly

Conor Kehelly is an animator, illustrator & music producer from Ireland. His film work has been described as playful, dark, textural scattershot portraits of a society in crisis. His award winning 2023 short film The Final Nail in The Coffin and his newest 2026 film A Pint of Bitter were entirely self-funded solo works which he directed, animated, voice-acted and scored. Working on independent projects for long periods of time influences his storytelling and design decisions in personal and unique ways. Although originally a traditional 2D animator, his recent work has taken a turn into the third dimension, focusing on capturing the restrictions and sensibilities of 2D in a 3D space.
