Forging the Swords
In an utterly dark society, violence becomes a spectacle, and sacrifice hardens into ritual. The victim is driven to self-destruction, in exchange for no more than a phantom of justice. In the end, the victim, the perpetrator and the resister are all swallowed up. Justice sinks into an absurd historical memory. There is no judgment, only a legend remains.

Weiyu Wang
Wang Weiyu was born in Nanjing, China in 1972. He graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy and is engaged in contemporary art and independent animation creation. His animated short films have been shortlisted for competition sections of several international animation film festivals.
