Language of the Sea

The film portrays a girl looking for her missing brother. The Sea itself speaks to her through the sea organ and teaches her its language. The longer the Sea and the girl talk, the Sea lures her more and more into its depths, until she finally becomes a part of it.

Nikola Pavošević

Nikola Pavošević, born 2002 in Osijek, has a BA in animation and new media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Author of short animation films such as Silhouette, Eco Kids, Wizard’s Ball IV and The Magical Girl, selected for Animafest Zagreb 2025. He also illustrated the monthly cartoon in the local newspaper Čepin Promo and the English language textbook Basic English Grammar in a Military Context by Tatjana Klobučar. In addition to animation, he also develops video games.
