The film invites the contemporary viewer to re-examine the Expulsion from Paradise from a first-person perspective. While this act is often seen in the West as a punishment, Eastern tradition interprets it as a gift that allows humanity to know the full spectrum of life. Anxiety, triggered by the collapse of his idyll, devastates the Neurotic, who attempts to bargain for the past using a found defective fruit. This burden initiates a chain of metamorphoses, forcing the hero to confront the strongest pain - the pain of self-rejection - before he can receive a new form for his unwanted gift.
