Synopsis

I recently saw someone that looked like you. I realized quickly that he was not you - but he moved like you. Ran his hands through his hair like you. And had the same backpack in the same shabby state. So I decided to follow your not-you for a while.

Lara Torp

Lara Torp (Berlin, 1996) has finished her bachelors and masters degree in screenwriting at Film University Babelsberg between 2017 and 2023. She also took part in the Winterclass Serial Writing and Producing. Projects she worked on have gone on to screen in multiple international festivals. Her directorial debut Twoness made the shortlist of the 2021 BAFTA Student Awards and the medium length film Auf Platte (dir. Pascal Schuh) which she co-authored was broadcast in German channel 3Sat and nominated for the Student Academy Awards 2022. Now she works both alone and in writer's rooms on series and films as a screenwriter based in Berlin, with a special interest in comedy and dramedy.

Emilia Zieser

Emilia Zieser studies animation at the Film University Babelsberg. Her love of experimentation has brought her to work in different fields like music videos, documentaries, fiction and festival trailers. She also works as an editor.
