Lara Torp (Berlin, 1996) has finished her bachelors and masters degree in screenwriting at Film University Babelsberg between 2017 and 2023. She also took part in the Winterclass Serial Writing and Producing. Projects she worked on have gone on to screen in multiple international festivals. Her directorial debut Twoness made the shortlist of the 2021 BAFTA Student Awards and the medium length film Auf Platte (dir. Pascal Schuh) which she co-authored was broadcast in German channel 3Sat and nominated for the Student Academy Awards 2022. Now she works both alone and in writer's rooms on series and films as a screenwriter based in Berlin, with a special interest in comedy and dramedy.
