Animafest Zagreb invites you to submit your film for the 35th edition of the Festival

World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb invites you to submit your film for the 35th edition of the Festival, taking place 02 - 07 June 2025 in Zagreb.

All short and feature animated films completed after 1 January 2024 are eligible to apply via online entry form.

Short films (maximum running time 40 minutes) can be submitted to following competition categories:

• Short Film Competition
• Student Film Competition – films produced in an educational institution (art schools and film schools)
• Films for Children and Youth Competition
• Croatian Film Competition – films whose majority producer is Croatian and/or films by Croatian directors.

Feature films (minimum running time 40 minutes) can be submitted to the following competition category:

• Feature Film Competition

Submission deadline for short films in all categories is 1 February 2025 while the submission deadline for feature films is 15 March 2025.

35th World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zargeb 2025 will take place in Zagreb 02 - 07 June 2025.
