Films For Children and Youth Competition

I was born in 2009 in Zagreb. I am the sixth of eight brothers and sisters. I completed most of my elementary school education in Nanjing, where I attended a public Chinese school. I finished the rest of elementary school in Zagreb, Barban, and Pula at Monte Zaro primary school. I am currently a second-year student at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula, specializing in painting. From an early age, my mother introduced me to different forms of movement-based art. She taught contemporary dance in Zagreb, and I often took part in her classes. That was a strong motivation for me to continue developing my curiosity for art. From acting to animation, I have tried many different forms of art, but animation and film have always been among my favourites. I have always enjoyed being able to create something. Even if it fails and turns out badly, it is still better than never having tried at all. That is why I am excited to participate in this year’s Animafest as a jury member, and I look forward to gaining new experiences, meeting new people, and learning about their experiences.
