Performance: Repeated Resonant Figures James Reichelt (aka Alone), Thomas Volda
12/06 FRI 11:00–19:00 &TD Courtyard

Repeated Resonant Figures is a hybrid durational performance combining stop-motion puppet animation with live experimental sound. At its core, the artwork stages an improvised dialogue between the live performers and the visual created with animated counterparts and other materials. The work explores the fragile boundary between movement and stillness, object and character, control and chance.
James Reichelt (aka Alone) is a designer, illustrator and musician based in Bristol UK. Retro games consoles filtered through digital delays and drum machines. Layered, reverbed, delayed and distorted. Alone paints a post-something slice of hazy nostalgic sounds pulled from late night memories of virtual adventures. Alone-music.co.uk
