Anna Mantzaris
Anna is a Swedish animation director and filmmaker with a focus on stop motion. Her films mix emotion, awkwardness and humor. She loves to balance sadness and comedy through characters that feel both strange and familiar. Her work has received over 100 international awards, including an Emmy Award, an Annie Award and European Animation Award. In addition to her independent films, Anna directs commissioned work for clients such as Apple and Greenpeace. She has an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art and was part of the animation team on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs.
