Woman baker among men bakers, our heroine has to be rigorous and precise. But a mishap reminds her of the sheer pleasure of a cake made by oneself, for oneself...

Mitchelle Tamariz

Born in Cancun in Mexico in 1991, Mitchelle Tamariz is an animation director. She graduated from CEDIM in Monterrey in Mexico where she studied digital art, focusing on photography and video production. She discovered traditional animation during an international student exchange program at The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design of Prague in the Czech Republic. She joined La Poudrière in Valence, in France, to study animated film directing, and graduated in 2019 having directed Noche (a one-minute stop-motion film), Vous avez vu mes jambes? (broadcast on the French TV channel Gulli) and her graduation film When We Leave. She is currently living in Lyon in France.
