Synopsis

You know, I’ve got to the age where I want to settle down and stop jumping from relationship to relationship every few weeks, but everyone I meet is so immature which I thought wouldn’t be the case now. Know what I mean? What do you do for a job? Ah no way! I love animation! That’s so interesting! Anything I’ve seen? I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be an animator! Bet it’s so fun. I think Pixar is my favourite, that film with the cars is just so dam funny! And Shrek! I almost forget that’s animation, just amazing how people come up with this stuff and make those characters so believable! Is that the sort of stuff you do? Can I see?

Peter Millard

Peter Millard is an acclaimed animator and artist from the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, England. His independent animated films have been shown at short film festivals around the world, collecting numerous awards and being featured in several retrospectives. Alongside animation Millard’s practice extends to sculpture and sound which have been exhibited alongside his moving image work. He also works part-time as a senior lecturer on the Illustration Animation BA course at Kingston School of Art and continues to work on his own practice at his studio in southeast London.
