Eva Cvijanović is a Montréal-based, Sarajevo-born filmmaker and animator. She has directed a number of animated films, namely the needle-felted stop motion short Hedgehog’s Home, which premiered at the 2017 Berlinale and has since had much international success. Cvijanović has also worked as an animator on many productions, often collaborating with the National Film Board of Canada. Navigating between the handmade and digital realms, Cvijanović seeks to create fertile playgrounds for herself and her peers. She is currently experimenting with filmmaking within a game engine and exploring new collaborative venues, both as director and researcher.
