Nikolay Moustakov graduated from the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1996. In 1997, he moved to London, where he worked on a wide variety of film and TV projects (Fantastic Mr. Fox, Watership Down, Sherlock Gnomes), while also developing his own films. Since 2017, he has mostly lived in Colombia, where he is developing various animation projects. His films are: Flight (1996), Marsipan (2005), Whirlwind (2010).
