Dan Safonov

Born in 11997 (yes, that’s correct) in Moscow, Dan Safonov was influenced by 2x2 (Russian Adult Swim), punk rock and absurdist poetry. At the age of 13, he decided that animation is the best medium for his wild fantasies. In 2015, he graduated from Lyceum №1533 in Moscow with some knowledge of 2D animation and editing software. Later that year, he successfully applied to Saint Petersburg State University of Film and Television to study animation, screenwriting and editing.
