Synopsis

Here Theregives shape to expandable, floating threads of memory. It starts as a travelogue, with sketches made in summer 2014 in Croatia, but details soon begin to evolve in abstract impressions from the edge of memory. This film is reduced to its core – a condensed feeling of a space and time.

Alexander Stewart

Alexander Stewart directed short experimental films shown at many international festivals, including Rotterdam, Tribeca, Image Forum (Japan), 25 FPS. He is a co-founder and co-director of the experimental animation festival Eyeworks in Chicago and curates a series of programmes at the Roots&Culture cultural art centre. He lives in Chicago and teaches at DePaul University.
