Animafest and TED-Ed reward your ideas
05/30/2016

After last year's successful cooperation with Animafest Zagreb, TED-Ed, the award-winning training platform used by millions of teachers and students all over the world,  is coming back to Zagreb and looking for co-workers!

It was exactly at this festival that Chintis Lundgren, last year's winner of the award for the best Croatian film, started the cooperation with the TED-Ed platform. The final result was a short animated film Why do cats act so weird?' which illustrated the lecture of Tony Buffington. Therefore, TED-Ed producer Gerta Xhelo arrives at this year's edition of the World Festival of Animated Film and is looking for new ideas!

Gerta Xhelo will propose the topics: How to become an excellent leader or build a dystopian society? How to help a friend overcome addiction? What is the Kardashev scale and how did Vivaldi live? How to present Vermeer’s contribution to art? And, bizarre but interesting, How does the human body decompose after death?

Interested authors, animators and producers will get a chance to express their own visions and suggestions for how to turn the aforementioned topics into animated films, while TED-Ed will award the author of the most fitting proposal.

Where and when? 10 June, at 3.30 PM, Zagreb Dance Centre!
