Exhibition of the winner of the Animafest Lifetime Achievement Award

Nedeljko Dragić, one of the most prominent authors of the Zagreb School of Animation, as an extremely talented cartoonist, has always been preoccupied with everyday life topics, alienation and human loneliness. In addition to stylised characters, Dragić’s trademark touch also includes set design, which he forms in a wide range from minimalist hints of space, to meticulously drawn ambiences, to abstract backgrounds. He made his debut with Elegy in 1965, and then created an impressive opus of multi-award winning films. Displayed are his key achievements in the field of animation, as well as storyboards, drawings, cels, awards and other archival material that testifies to the work of an exceptional illustrator, comic book author, cartoonist and graphic designer.
