Synopsis

On 4 March 2020, I happened to be in my hometown Salzburg/Austria. Then things became weird and “coronoid”. So I stayed and on 15 March I decided to shut down/shut up in Salzburg to work on these personal/animated hometown coronicles, that deal with some places I grew up with but also with some of my thoughts and observations between March and June 2020.

Reinhold Bidner

Reinhold Bidner was born in Salzburg. He studied at the University for Applied Sciences and Technologies in Salzburg (multimedia art), at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, Scotland (animation and electronic media). Since 2007 he has been freelancing in the fields of video, photography, animation, media design and media art, either as an individual or in the frame of the art collectives 1n0ut and Goldextra.
