SUNČANA BRKULJ is a young animation director based in Zagreb. Her three student films have been screened at international festivals around the world, including Zagreb, Annecy, Ottawa, and Stuttgart. Her films I’M NOT FEELING VERY WELL and The Tower were also exhibited at the Youth Salon at the HDLU (Croatian Association of Fine Artists). Sunčana completed her first professional animated film, The Butterfly, in 2024. Since then, it has been screened at over sixty international festivals and has won eight awards and recognitions. In addition to animated films, Sunčana also creates works in the technique of experimental collage.
