ANTONIA BEGUŠIĆ is an animation director and animator. She earned her Master’s degree in Animated Film and New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Since 2008, she has been actively working in the field of animation (short films, TV, theater) as a director, animator, set designer, and puppet maker. She graduated with the animated film Eho in 2023. Her debut stop-motion film The Republic has been screened at more than thirty festivals. Since 2019, she has served as the president, and since 2024 as the vice-president of the Animation Branch within the Filmmakers Association of Croatia. Since 2013, she has also been working in the production of live-action feature films and television series.
