ANDRIJANA RUŽIĆ graduated in History and Criticism of Art at the Università degli Studi in Milan, Italy, specializing in History of Animated Film under the mentorship of Giannalberto Bendazzi. As an independent scholar, she has participated in numerous international conferences on animation studies, presenting works by various independent animation authors, and has served as a juror and a film selector at international animation festivals. From 2012 to 2019, she was a film programmer at the International Comics Festival in Belgrade, Serbia. She is a member of the Organizing committee of Animafest Scanner - Symposium for Contemporary Animation Studies held annually during the World Festival of Animated Film in Zagreb, Croatia. She writes about animation and other arts for the Belgrade weekly magazine Vreme, Croatian magazine Croatian Film Chronicles, and French animation magazine Blinkblank. She is also the author of the book Michael Dudok de Wit - A Life in Animation (CRC Focus).
