GRAND COMPETITION - SHORT FILM | Ivana Volda
IVANA VOLDA (Karlovac, 1983) graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and studied animation at the University of Volda in Norway. Together with her partner, Thomas Volda, she co-directed three puppet films: Simulacra (2014), Imbued Life (2019), and Remember How I Used to Ride a White Horse (2022). The films have been screened and awarded at numerous international festivals. Ivana is professionally involved in various stop-motion projects across Europe, creates educational films in collaboration with TED-Ed, and has led stop-motion animation workshops for children and students. Since 2023, she has been a co-founder of the art organization Underfeather.
