Synopsis
A satire that mirrors Europe's pressing political issues through the turbulent daily lives of neighbourhood cats. The film takes place in Catlands, a union of distinct feline territories inhabited by cats of different social status. The delicate relationships are further disrupted by newcomers trespassing the lawns of the cats’ united territories. To address this international issue, the most prominent Catlant officials devise a convoluted plan, one that will doubtlessly end up harming innocents.
Ana Čigon (1982) is an established Slovene artist known for her video art, films and performances dealing with social issues which often incorporate elements of humour, irony and satire.
