Synopsis
Glass House is a video-sonic work, a disruptive immersive experience. It's the glass Tower of Babel, a kaleidoscope with hypnotic beauty. It's a sensation, mixed with attraction and repulsion, borrowed from science fiction novels.
Based on his drawing activity, work of Boris Labbé (France, 1987) is characterized by hybridization, combining the use of digital moving image techniques with those specific to animated film. This approach, somewhere between tradition and innovation, forms an original and vibrant language, prone to improvisation and the calculation of probabilities, questioning the problems of representation, the relationship between painting and cinema, between music and dance, between the body and animals, plants and minerals. He works on films, installations, theater designs and audiovisual projects, which he exhibited in museums and galleries world wide. His films have been screened at major film festivals.
