Synopsis

Behind the Scenesis a story that follows two young people who find themselves at a bus station at 2 o'clock in the morning. The young woman Alisa is suspicious and unwilling to engage with the young man, Erik. Slowly, they start a superficial conversation, through which their memories emerge, offering us an insight into their problems.

Monika Mohr

After finishing her secondary education at the School of applied arts and design, Monika Mohr enrolled at the University North in Koprivnica. Her studies covered various subjects such as design, animation, drawing and typography. Deciding to focus on animation, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. There, she created her first serious short film Overshadowed, after which she began work on her second film Behind the Scenes. Her creative focus is on profound themes such as mental health, character communication and development. In her work, her goal is to shed light on the issues of mental health, aiming to raise awareness about the challenges people with mental health issues face in their lives.
