Laura Martinović (Zagreb, 1993) obtained a master’s degree in graphics from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2017). She spent a semester at Ulster University in Belfast, United Kingdom where she experienced different possibilities within illustration and photography gaining valuable insights from the international art community. In 2017 she moved to Barcelona for internship in Metafora Art School as an animator and illustrator where she got interested in 2D animation and started exploring that media. Today, she is actively involved in experimental and 2D animation, which she uses as an artistic expression in combination with collage and drawing, and since 2019 she has been collaborating with Adriatic Animation Studio as a director and animator. She also had the chance to collaborate with different animation studios like Minya Studio and Tetrabot Studio. Since 2020, she has been a team member of Supertoon, a festival for animated films and comics in Šibenik, Croatia, and recently became a festival producer and coordinator. She is a director and animator of The Pet Named Stress, 10 Days of Lovid, Room the music video, Water the music video, Lost & Found and collaboration on TedED: A Day in the Life of an Ancient Greek Architect. She also worked as an animator on Fačuk, Floating, All Those Sensations in My Belly, The Sea of Thoughts
