Vjeran Šalamon (1967) is a multimedia artist, composer and a sound designer. He has been working as a composer and sound designer on more than 100 films and exhibitions, including EXPO (Aichi, 2005; Zaragoza, 2008), Venice Biennale (2010). He has collaborated with Croatian animated films veterans such as Pavao Štalter, Zlatko Bourek, Darko Kreč, Joško Marušić, Neven Petričić, Darko Bakliža, Daniel Šuljić, as well as younger directors Darko Masnec, Manuel Šumberac, Matea Kovač, Petra Balekić, Kata Gugić. In 2022 he was nominated for the prestigious Camille Awards for the best European Film Composer. For the animated feature Cricket & Antoinette, along with Coco Mosquito, he received Golden Arena for Music.
