Vera Neubauer is an experimental filmmaker, animator and educator. She is best known for her jarring, provocative and anti establishment approach to storytelling. Her work spans genres, from children's television series to experimental short films and documentaries. She has been awarded prizes at  international Film Festivals and has received two BAFTA Cymru Awards. Vera has taught, for over thirty years, at various international institutions including Goldsmiths College, Central Saint Martins and The Royal College of Art where in 2023 she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate.
