Synopsis

A little girl named Lu, closed inside high concrete walls, lives wire-bound to ‘the mechanism’ she believes is keeping her alive. The only world outside the walls Lu knows about is the faraway horizon above the clouds which she observes every day through a large opening in the wall. With the help of an unexpected, mysterious creature, Lu finds long lost courage, unhooks the mechanism and embarks on a journey to the unknown, where her strength will be put to a test.

Morana Marija Vulić

Morana Marija Vulić (Zagreb, 1999) attended School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, Graphics Department, where she finished her first film Sophisma. In 2018 she has enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, the Department of New Media and Animated Film, where she earned her bachelor's degree with her second film, Illuminated. She got her master's degree in 2023 with her fourth film Tower.
