Synopsis

A mysterious disappearance on a 1960s space journey launches the counter-culture revolution, the government blocks contraband radio broadcasts, and American fervor for conquering space finally goes too far. Static images are activated, and in reframing the still through movement, ‘drift’ functions as not only an animation style, but also as a strategy to dislodge previous space histories as well as a means of resistance.
