Synopsis

When sleep comes, the monkey glides gently from leaf to leaf and into a mysterious dream world which becomes darker, more colourful and wilder. Sonja Rohleder's cinematic lullaby floats through the phases of sleep and their various hues and shapes.

Sonja Rohleder

Sonja is an animator and part of talking animals from the very beginning. Her passion is to create colorful moving images, preferably on black. She'd love to design your music video, create your museum installation or make your documentary more impactful. Her degree in animation from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf made her go on to create awards winning films, collaborate with international producers and artists, teaching classes, animate for games and VR experiences and travel the world.
