Synopsis

I remember when P. E. class started, we had to find partners to do stretching exercises or leapfrog together. Honestly, it was troublesome. Mostly we found partners who had a similar physique, but sometimes remained alone and had to make a pair between a tall man and a person of little stature, for example. These things were trivial things and did not influence my life, however, I remember well the sight of the gym or noise. I wanted to express these feelings by animation. This is the reason I made this work, named Umatobi, which means 'leapfrog'. (T. H.)
