Synopsis
Konigiri-kun is a lively rice ball boy with a triangle body and sesame seed hair. Today is the day of the costume parade. Konigiri-kun visits the store of his friend Kerokke the Croquette. He is worrying what costume to wear... Three lunchbox floats will be in the parade! Everyone starts to get ready. What's this? Little Quail Egg has been squeezed and squeezed by everyone else and has popped out. ‘I don't have a costume!’, cries Quail Egg. Konigiri-kun and Kerokke try to help, but...
Mari Miyazawa graduated from Nihon University, College of Art, Department of Fine Arts (1983), and from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media (2014). She worked as a graphic designer of computer games until 2000. Since 2002, she has presented her oekaki bento (kyaraben) works as an exploration of 'food art'. She has had solo exhibitions in Ginza (Tokyo) and Umeda (Osaka). Since 2007 she has directed short animated films using food as material, aired on J:COM (Japan's largest CATV channel).
