Synopsis
The film is inspired by Borges’ short story Aleph. The protagonist is involved in a world of simultaneous events. Passing through the gates of Aleph he experiences fears, hopes and sufferings of humankind.
Solobodan Tomić (1960, Split) graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Sarajevo in 1984, Department of Prints, under professor Dževad Hoza. Since 1988 he has collaborated at many group and solo exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, as well as at experimental and animated film festivals. He explores in the field of prints, animation and new media. A winner of several international awards for prints and short film. He is based in Split and works as a docent at the Arts Academy, teaching prints and 3D design.
