Ethan Barrett grew up on a ranch in Neodesha, Kansas, USA. He has written and directed several animated short films, including Burp (DOK Leipzig 2020) and Argus (Izmir 2021). He got his start in the film industry by working as a page at NBC Universal, then in the writers room of the NBC dramas Heroes Reborn and The Blacklist: Redemption. He was a writer and associate director for numerous esports leagues with Blizzard Entertainment and currently works as a freelance film editor. He lives in Austin with his wife and daughter.
