Diego Maia (1983) was born in Fortaleza. He's been creating illustrations for almost 20 years for the film, game, and animation industries. He investigates the connections between figurative painting, animation, and music, using references to Brazilian culture such as its rich coastline and the ghettos of the city, as well as imagining oneiric universes or those related to game fiction.
