Synopsis

A girl collects precious seeds which develop quickly, grow and bear fruit. Everything looks idyllic on the outside, but a real battle takes place underground – the seeds are prey to dangerous creatures from the darkness. Only the strongest will sprout, those that have conquered every obstacle... An allegorical tale of fighting with one’s own demons, depicted in an interesting 2D and stop-motion combination.

Dea Jagić

Dea Jagić, born in 1985, graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts with her film Objects. Since then she has collaborated on various projects as animator, illustrator, director and designer. Wake Me Up (2015) is her debut film.
