Synopsis
Heta lives with her pet seal in her highly peculiar house full of curious rooms and endless corridors. Her entire life consists of carefully planned and conducted routines. When the latter get thrown into disarray, Heta’s world begins to crumble, until she feels compelled to make an irreversible decision.
Bianca Caderas (1990, Switzerland) completed her studies in fine arts (film) at the HSLU in 2017 with her graduation film, Living Like Heta. In 2018, she began studying film at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Her second short film, Jeroboam, won the High Swiss Risk Award at Fantoche 2021.
Isabella Luu (1993, Switzerland) has always used drawing to express herself. After graduating from high school she was able to expand her knowledge and passion for art at the preparatory course in Lucerne. Diving through this pool of creativity she found her happy place in studying 2D animation, wherein she received her Bachelor of Arts in 2017.
Kerstin Zemp (1993, Switzerland) completed her bachelor's in 2D animation at HSLU with Living Like Heta in 2017. The film was shown at several international festivals. It won the High Swiss Risk Award at Fantoche 2017 and the Innerschweizer Film Award in 2019. From 2017 to 2019 she lived and worked in Ireland.
