On the one hand, it’s apocalypse, and on the other, it feels like any other day. Something bizarre is throbbing on an invisible layer.

Tomek Popakul

Tomek Popakul graduated from Łódź Film School in animation direction and special effects. His debut movie Ziegenort was shown at many festivals around the world. Another one of his projects, Acid Rain, received 35 awards, was shown at around 90 festivals, got a prestigious nomination for Annie Awards, and was on the  list of Oscar nominees. Created short hybrid animation Moon for HBO pandemic anthology At Home. Collaborated with Kasumi Ozeki on Acid Rain, Moon, and now Zima.
