Lea Vidaković (1983) graduated at the graphic arts department at the Academy of Arts in Zagreb, BA of animation at HVO, Norway, MA of audio-visual arts at the Royal Academy of Art KASK in Belgium and got a PhD degree in animation studies from NTU-ADM Singapore. She works in the field of animated installations, traditional puppet animation and expanded media practices. Her research interests include fragmented narratives and alternative storytelling approaches for animated installations and expanded cinema. She has exhibited internationally on solo and group exhibitions in Norway, Egypt, Serbia, Croatia, Belgium, France, Singapore, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal and Czech Republic, while her films were shown at more than 200 festivals. She attended several artist residencies in Iceland (NES), Finland (Saari), Vienna (MQ21), France (NEF), Slovakia (At home gallery) and Czech Republic (Milkwood). She is a winner of several art and film awards.
