Weijia Ma is an independent animation artist. She teaches at the University of Shanghai. Her graduation film, made at the Art Institute of Chicago, has won awards at numerous festivals, including the Hiroshima International Animation Festival, the Bucheon International Animation Festival and the Chicago International Film Festival.
