Alicia Núñez Puerto, a producer and writer, has worked on more than 20 animated projects for companies such as Ánima Estudios, BRB Internacional or Aardman Animations. She co-founded MIA, Association of Women in the Animation Industry in Spain, being its first elected president. Currently, she heads the Development Film department at Anima, and is a member of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain. Spring Always Comes Back is her first project as a director.
