Synopsis
The snow in my hometown is very soft and innocently beautiful. This film is calm and clean, just like the snow that I remember. There is no hidden meaning. All the movements and expressions in the film are simple and universal.
Born in 1984, Yoriko is a filmmaker who makes tangible animation using such motifs as body parts and sushi. She received the New Face Award, Animation Division at the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Japan Media Arts Festival, and was formally selected at the Berlin International Film Festival’s Berlinale Shorts, and more.
