After the Fine Arts Academy, Donato Sansone attended the Cinematography Experimental Centre of Turin. He first began making videos, with a particular interest in animation logic applied to reality, always between animation and live action. While still a student, he enjoyed testing the computer's different potential for performing real manipulations by compositing. In 2004 he made two films, Love Cube and Slidinghands.
